Prima Lifetime Layout

Hi Everybody,

Today we are sharing a scrapbook page that I created in our April weekend workshop.  Our September Weekend Workshop is coming up on the weekend of 21st and 22nd September.  We try to ensure that the projects cover a range of styles, different products and manufacturers so that there is something for everyone.  This was the vintage style layout.

The layout uses a selection of the Prima Lifetime collection of papers and embellishments and also several Kaisercraft and Basic grey products.  Just one of the techniques taught in this layout was using texture paste and curtin fabric to create a lovely delicate texture on the page.  We also showed people how to make their own texture paste and how to colour texture paste as part of the class.

Our upcoming weekend workshop on the 21st and 22nd of September will have scrapbooking layouts, off the page and make and take projects. Sneak peaks coming soon!  We have had lots of fun with the ladies who have come and hope you will be able to join us too.  You will need register your interest as places will be limited.

JULIE NUTTING PRIMA DOLL CARD

PRIMA DOLL CARD

Hi Everyone,

Today we would like to share with you one of the cards we have made using a Prima Mixed Media doll stamp.

This card has been created by stamping the doll stamp on vanilla bazzill, red patterned paper and Zsa Zsa Chilli cardstock. Each layer has then been cut and layered to create the dressed doll.

The dolls hair has been coloured using a tea dye distress marker and embellished with rhinestones.

Shoes cuffs and hair have all been highlighted with Spica markers for a shiny effect.

The chilli background card has been stamped with Kaisercraft background stamps and white Colorbox ink.

Other embellishments are white lace, punched leaves and a white mini bloom.

The doll has been raised by using mounting foam.

This is just one of a range of Prima doll stamps that can be used to make lots of fun cards.

First Christmas

Stationery Noted First Chrismas

During last year a very special couple became parents to an even more special baby boy.

This layout is a picture of him on his first Christmas.

I have created this layout using Teresa Collins Stationery Noted paper collection and their coordinating embellishments. Even though this is not a christmas range of paper it is very suitable for a wide range of subjects to scrap and it matched his Father Cristmas outfit perfectly.

There are plenty of embellishments to go with this collection and the papers have a variety of elements to so you can easily create  beautiful projects.

Prima Dolls

These beautiful dolls were created by very clever Nancie.

Both of these projects use one of the Prima Doll Stamps. By using a number of layers of stamped images and precision fussy cutting Nancie has been able to dress her dollls in beautiful outfits with coordinating paper. Dolls have then been embellished with glitter, lace and pearls.

Other embellishments include Prima pearl flourish, Prima flowers, Petaloo flowers, Die cut leaf, punched butterflies and doily.

Vintage Bliss Layout

Divided Page Protector Scrapbook Layout using Vintage Bliss

Hi everyone,

I am back to share a quick page that I have made using the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss papers.  For this page I decided to document an activity that the kids enjoy, no matter what the season as long as there has been a little bit of rain.  I have chosen pictures that were taken about 6 months apart to show that the kids love to put their gum boots on and splash in the puddles.  Telling the story of favourite activities or family traditions is another way of using divided page protectors.  They don't have to be just for chronological scrapbooking!  Maybe you can think about some family activities or traditions that have stayed the same or even changed over time that you can record in your own scrapbooking.
