A few weeks ago I made some tag backgrounds using the metallic distress paint.  I kept the embellishments and stamping to show off the background.

Today's card is a pretty pink baby card using Kaisercraft's Bundle of Joy Mittens patterned paper, pink cardstock, along with some pink ribbon, pink paper bloom, Kaisercraft wooden rattle  and a white paper doily.  I chose the part of the patterned paper that had the detailed image to create the card and have kept the spare paper for another card.  This is a great way to create a striking card in a short period of time.

Hi everyone,

Washi tapes are a really fun and popular product at the moment with lots of different manufacturers producing decorative tapes to match with their collections.  I thought I would share a quick card created with washi tapes.  I used different strips of washi tapes on some cream card that are all from the same pack of tape from My Minds Eye, so they all coordinate perfectly.

Todays card uses another one of the beautiful Couture Creations Doily Dies cut out of black cardstock.

The card is created on a white base then has several more layers. The first layer is pink patterned paper which we also used in the flower, the second layer has been created using white cardstock and embossed with one of the new Crafters Companions 6x6 Embossalicious embossing folders to give it beautiful texture. The next layer is the Couture Creations Doily Die.
