I think I have found a new couple of favourite products to my list.  If you follow my blog or have attended any of the Weekend Workshops you will know that I love my Calico Shine, well, I have been playing a little with the silver and gold Mister Huey's mist and I am smitten.

Well for some of you who have seen my canvas made with Dylusions, stencils, some beautiful flowers along with some other great products, this is not that much of a sneak peak.  Quite a few people wanted to make a canvas of their own so we going to do a canvas this time (if you don't want to make a canvas you will be able to make the layout on paper)

I have learnt more about creating backgrounds on canvas and so thought I would share just a little of some of the backgrounds I have been working on to give you ideas and inspiration for your own canvas if you are coming along to the In Store Weekend Workshop on 13-14th April.  There will be some opportunity to tailor the colours and a couple of different techniques to try.  I look forward to seeing you there!

Hi everyone,

I made this scrapbook layout about my youngest boy licking the bowl after we have made a cake.  I am pretty sure most of us who have children have some photos like this!  Who doesn't like to lick the bowl ?  To follow on with the theme of my photos I created a background page that was messy looking.

I needed to make a couple of birthday cards last week and here is one of my cards.  I used the patterned papers from the Kaisercraft 75 cents collection, some Kaisercraft blooms (Sage) and a resin flower, some embroidery ribbon, a Kaisercraft Dressform, Kaisercraft flourish (Ice) and some bazzill card.  I distressed the edges and added some pumice stone ink.  This collection is really great for vintage style projects and has that lovely touch of green.

Over the last couple of weeks we have been getting some of the new stock I ordered following CHA in February.  There is still lots more to come!  If you want to know more about what is new in store you can check out the facebook page.  I am not planning to post everything that is new, as I don't want to overwhelm people though.

Hi everyone,

Today's card is using Saxaphone Luka, La La Land Crafts Music Notes die, a new Kaisercraft Texture Stamp and some papers from Kaisercrafts 75 Cents paper pad.  After I stamped Luka I coloured him in with my copic markers and cut him out.  Tip: I didn't cut the tiny area between the saxaphone and his arm but instead coloured it with a marker to match the colour of the background.  This will work when you have the right colour of copic marker and the area is only small.  I also coloured and cut the small hearts out too.
