Today's project is a card made using Kaisercraft's Secret Admirer Collection, one of my favourite Dusty Attic Chipboard Hearts, some flower ribbon and some washi tape. I cut the card front from the piece of patterned paper and then I inked around the edges of the main 'panel' of the card using Victorian Velvet Distress Ink and then stamped the script stamp using Jet Black Archival ink. The birdcage was from one of the collectables packs.
I stamped the bird using Jet Black Archival ink and inked it using a few distress inks (Peacock Feathers, Victorian Velvet) to get the multicoloured look. I cut the bird out and then card was assembled as shown in the photograph. The cute little word stickers are from one of the sticker sheets from the Secret Admirer Collection - the sticker sheet is full of sayings and sentiments that are great for cards or scrapbook layouts.
Thanks for stopping by. I'll be back in a couple of days with another scrapbook layout to share.
