Sunrise Sunset and A Golden Bird

Handmade card using Maya Road bird and Sunrise Sunset papers

Hi everyone,

I think I have found a new couple of favourite products to my list.  If you follow my blog or have attended any of the Weekend Workshops you will know that I love my Calico Shine, well, I have been playing a little with the silver and gold Mister Huey's mist and I am smitten.

So I had to share a project using the mist on one of these cute May Road Birds.  I have teamed it up with some of the papers from Prima and Finnabair's Sunrise Sunset Collection.  I stamped one of Kaisercraft's texture stamps over the bird using Jet Black Archvival Ink and added a black gem.  I used some Black Soot distress ink over the Kaisercraft birdcage mask and also added some faux stitching to the patterned paper.

Gold is a colour which is a real trend at the moment so I added some gold twine, which just goes to show maybe you shouldn't put all your Christmas trims away!  The word forever comes off a barcode strips from a patterned paper from the Pickled Pear Collection by Kasiercraft.  I am finding lots of uses for these words at the moment.

Thanks for stopping by.  I'll be back tommorrow with another sneak peak for the April Weekend Workshop.
