Stationery Noted Mothers Day Card

Card made using Teresa Collins Stationery Noted Collection

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday!  I thought I would stop by the blog and show another Mothers Day Card (well actually this could be used for other occasions too).  I have grabbed some of the Stationery Noted Collection by Teresa Collins which has lots of lovely blues, greys and a pop of red too.  I have kept this card very 'white' as I am really loving the look of white and clean cards at the moment.

I wanted to add a little something to the card to make sure it was interesting but kept things nice and clean so I reached for some Picket Fence distress stickles and added some to the flower and the edge of my card base.  This is pretty quick to do and definitely adds a little something extra to your cards.  You could use other colours of distress stickles to get a similar look but I chose the picket fence since the glitter is pure white.

I stamped the sentiment using Archival ink as it is really great to use with clear stamps, regardless of the stamp manufacturers (just don't use it when you are going to do copic marker colouring!).  It seems to cling to the stamps really well, since it is an oil based ink.  The stamp I used for today's card is from the My Minds Eye Collectable - Unforgetable 'Today' stamp set.

Happy Mothers Day wishes to you all for Sunday.  Don't worry you still have time to make a card for your mum :)

Thanks for stopping by,

Kristy
