I made this scrapbook layout about my youngest boy licking the bowl after we have made a cake. I am pretty sure most of us who have children have some photos like this! Who doesn't like to lick the bowl ? To follow on with the theme of my photos I created a background page that was messy looking.
I even 'stamped' my little boy's hand prints on the page. I used a paint dabber to apply the paint and he was happy to let me 'stamp' his hand and the clean up was quick and easy with a couple of baby wipes. I had been wanting to try out some of the 12x12 Specialty stamping paper by Ranger and see how it went with creating the background. The paper was good to work with and has a really smooth feel about it. I used some Dylusions Ink Spray on it and it came out a slightly different colour on this paper than some others which was fine with me but it is worth noting that sometimes colours are different on different types of paper or surfaces, including canvas.
I drew in the circular frame by hand with a vintage photo distress marker which was pretty quick to do. TIP: I just put four very light pencil marks on the paper to give me a bit of guide. The title was stamped with paint and then fussy cut with some Prima canvas alphabets used to complete it.
Stef has received a bunch of new stock, including some My Mind's Eye Products, Flouishes Stamps, La La Land Craft Stamps, the latest Graphic 45 collections plus even more products from Prima. Registration has also opened for the In Store Weekend Workshop - Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th April. Hope to see you there!
Have a great week,
