Kaisercraft Scrapbook Organiser

Hi Everyone,

Today I thought I would share my completed Scrapbook Organiser.  You can buy the precut wooden pieces packaged together - it is Kasiercraft product.  You need to decorate/paint it and then assemble it.  For my organiser I chose to paint the edges with picket fence (white) distress paint. This is really quick to dry and easy to apply.

I then traced the pieces  onto the patterned paper that I wanted to glue to the wood.  I chose this ratten basket style paper from Kaisercraft's Basecoat 2 line but you could choose whatever paper you wanted to or could paint all the wood.  I think this kind of project would also look great with crackle paint applied or even texture paste through stencils.

My organiser holds a full core kit of Project Life (I have the Honey edition), plus additonal 3x4 cards and photographs I have printed. I have some washi tapes and glitter glue plus a couple of pens in it also. I keep letter stickers and assorted memorabilia in the last slot.  The drawer contains other additional memorabilia like pictures my children have drawn and tickets from movies/events.

I am writing on the some the cards as things come up that I want to document and then place them in the organiser with the other cards until I am ready to assemble that page.  With this system I am writing down more of our stories and more of the funny little things my children say or do are recorded even if there is no photo to go with them.

Thanks for stopping by,
