Well it is the 5th December already and the last day of our 5 Days in December series. For today I am sharing a silver spray painted stick tree with handmade decorations. My son likes to collect sticks so that was the inspiration for the tree. The decorations are a mix of collectables from the Silver bells collection, some patterned paper that has been die cut with a couple of different star dies, silver board cut with snowflakes dies and some real silver bells.
I have teamed up my homemade decorations with a couple of store bought garlands. Nothing too precious as it is sitting on our front porch. My plan is to make some more decorations with the kids, probably using the Tim Holz rosette and maybe do a google search for origami decorations we could make once school is finished for the year. I could also imagine a fun paper doll style garland. I got the silver spray paint ($3) from Bunnings.
We have a couple more posts in our Touches of Gold series, lots more christmas inspiration to share and gift ideas. On the facebook page there is lots of new product and other projects to share over the coming weeks.
Thanks for stopping by,
