Divided Page Protector Scrapbook Page Using Simple Stories 24/7

Hi everyone,

Today I am sharing a double page pocket layout using the 24/7 papers by Simple Stories.  Pocket scrapbooking or scrapbooking in divided page protectors is really popular and is a great way to get your photos and stories recorded in a relatively short amount of time.  I am finding this is an excellent way for me to make sure I have the memories that I want to remember all in the same place and is another way of 'backing up my photos' (so if something happened that meant I lost our digital images I would at least have a copy of my favourite photos).  Don't get me wrong I back up our photos on an external drive too.  It is also great for when I want to create a 12x12 layout or even a double page layout that expands on the stories that I have quickly recorded.  I am also finding I can do a bit at a time and I can do this type of scrapbooking when I am tired and not feeling very creative.  My kids are loving looking at the album and laughing at the funny things they say that I have written down and looking at the things we have done.

TC Stationery Noted Card

Handmade card using the Stationery Noted Collection

Hi everyone,

Today I have another clean and simple card using the Teresa Collins Stationery Noted colllection.  This card uses some of the stickers from the sticker sheet, a cute chipboard button, a white flower, thread and the same sentiment as the last card. This card came together really quickly.  There are bunch of other stickers on the sheet that could be used to make cards too.  Hope you had a great weekend and I will be back later in the week with a different project to share.  Check out our facebook page for a picture of the different elements of the Stationery Noted range.

Stationery Noted Mothers Day Card

Card made using Teresa Collins Stationery Noted Collection

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday!  I thought I would stop by the blog and show another Mothers Day Card (well actually this could be used for other occasions too).  I have grabbed some of the Stationery Noted Collection by Teresa Collins which has lots of lovely blues, greys and a pop of red too.  I have kept this card very 'white' as I am really loving the look of white and clean cards at the moment.

Thanks Mum Card

Mothers Day card using Graphic 45 French Country Collection

Hi Everyone,

As it is coming up to Mother's Day I thought we would share one of the cards we made in last Saturday's class.  The papers of the Graphic 45 Secret Garden Collection are so beautiful that you don't really need to add too spend too much time embellishing them.  This is great if you need a card in a hurry.

Handmade Card

Hi everyone,

Thanks to everyone who came to the Weekend Workshop and a big thanks to the people who helped out.  We had a great time and loved seeing everyone's creativity.  Today I am sharing a card that I have made by modifying one of the Make and Take Tags from the weekend workshop.  I kept the design really simple to keep the focus on the rolled canvas flower and the sentiment.  The main panel was originally a tag but was cut down and inked using black soot distress ink.  The leaves were die cut using the Poppy Stamps Gentle Leaf die. The stencil is a checker one by Prima and Finnabair.  I'll be back soon with a scrapbook layout.

Thanks for stopping by,
