Quick and Easy Card

Written by Stef on . Posted in Blog

Hi everyone,

Today I am sharing a quick and easy card using one of the new Spellbinders dies, some yellow ribbon, yellow card and some Fine and Sunny papers.  These dies are a great way to create a bit more detail on your cards without having to spend lots of time.  This simple design could be adapted for lots of different occasions.

Thanks for stopping by,

Stef

We hope you have all had a lovely Easter!  We also wanted to share another sneak peak for our weekend workshop which is coming up very soon on April 13-14.  We only have a few places left and we are busy getting things organised.  So here is another sneak peak to share.

Hope you have a great week,

Stef and the girls from Southern Stationery

Sneak Peak 2 April Weekend Workshop

Written by Kristy on . Posted in Blog

Hi everyone,

I am back today with a sneak peak of one of the projects we are making at the In-store Weekend Workshop.  For this particular class there will be an alternative option of papers that participants can use.  I love them both sets of papers but perhaps I am biased!

Hope you can come :)

Handmade card using Maya Road bird and Sunrise Sunset papers

Hi everyone,

I think I have found a new couple of favourite products to my list.  If you follow my blog or have attended any of the Weekend Workshops you will know that I love my Calico Shine, well, I have been playing a little with the silver and gold Mister Huey's mist and I am smitten.

April Weekend Workshop - Sneak Peak

Written by Kristy on . Posted in Blog

Hi everyone,

Well for some of you who have seen my canvas made with Dylusions, stencils, some beautiful flowers along with some other great products, this is not that much of a sneak peak.  Quite a few people wanted to make a canvas of their own so we going to do a canvas this time (if you don't want to make a canvas you will be able to make the layout on paper)

I have learnt more about creating backgrounds on canvas and so thought I would share just a little of some of the backgrounds I have been working on to give you ideas and inspiration for your own canvas if you are coming along to the In Store Weekend Workshop on 13-14th April.  There will be some opportunity to tailor the colours and a couple of different techniques to try.  I look forward to seeing you there!

Thanks for stopping by,

Kristy

MMM. . . Scrapbook Layout

Scrapbook Layout with background created with Dylusions and Paint Dabber

Hi everyone,

I made this scrapbook layout about my youngest boy licking the bowl after we have made a cake.  I am pretty sure most of us who have children have some photos like this!  Who doesn't like to lick the bowl ?  To follow on with the theme of my photos I created a background page that was messy looking.
