Today I thought I would like to show you a very quick easy card made with washi tape. To create this card I have chosen a card base to match the washi tapes. Lay strips of co-ordinating washi tape along the left and just up from the bottom of a white card layer. Cut a small square of white card and cover with strips of washi tape to make it look like a parcel, mount on card front. Attach a bow of matching ribbon, Stamp a sentiment and it's done.

Hi everyone,

We got the new Kaiser Mists in store recently and I decided to have a play.  I used the new Kaisercraft Quarters stencils and the mist to created these tags.  The Quarters stencils have 4 different quarters that have different patterns which gives you more options for creating backgrounds and they are a good size for cards too.  You can see the tags in the store and see the lovely shimmer and colours of the mists.  I have labelled each tag with the colour.

Here is a quick background created using the new Distress Spray colour Cracked Pistachio.  This year Tim Holtz and Ranger are releasing a new colour of distress every month and this is January's colour.  The new distress colour will be available in all the regular distress products - Inks, markers, sprays, paint, re-inkers and stains.

The Cracked Pistachio is a beautiful fresh green.  This background was created using a Prima Stencil and misting the spray onto some white card, waiting a few moments for the spray to dry and then flipping the stencil over and pressing onto the paper.

Sometimes it is all about the speed.  Not something you normally think of in card making but sometimes it is true.  There are times when you only a have a few moments to whip up a card so I thought I would share 4 tips I use for making cards quickly (but you could apply them to scrapbooking too).  I made this card in less than 5 minutes.

I created this album for a friend who had a little girl (less than a year old at the time).  My friend isn't a scrapbooker but she is interested in recording her baby girl's milestones and creating some form a baby album.  I decided that a 6x8 Kaiercraft album with the small divided page protectors and some of the Baby Girl Captured Moments cards to go in the pockets would probably be a quick and easy way for her to do this.
