Hi everyone,
Today is the last day of the 5 Days in December but there will continue to be Christmas posts and gift ideas on the blog and facebook page. I bought a hair clip that was plain from the supermarket to create a custom hair clip using some Prima flowers, some Websters Pages trim and some gems. The clip was gold and I didn't want it to show up underneath the trim so I applied some Evergreen Bough Distress Paint and left it to dry.
Last christmas a very special friend gave me a lovely bottle of wine but it was so beautifully decorated that it took a long time to take the bottle out of the wrap and enjoy it.
Today I have decorated a couple of bottles of wine to show you. The original idea came from Graphic 45s blog but I have used some of the Christmas paper I already had.
This is a great way of using up any left over paper you may have but the graphic 45 christmas ranges are stunning.

Hi everyone,
Today's idea is a different kind of 'pocket page' to keep the Christmas cards you receive. To make the page I have used some 12x12 cardstock and trimmed down one of the patterned papers in the Simple Stories Christmas line "December Documented". This line has a mix of a little bit of vintage, a little bit of fun/cute, some chalkboard elements and a mix of traditional and slightly non-traditional Christmas colours.

Today's idea is a Book Advent. The basic idea is to wrap up Christmas books for each day in December leading up to Christmas. Now don't think you have to have 24 Christmas books of your own! You can go to the library and see what you can borrow and then you just take them back when they are due. I sometimes buy a couple of cheap activity books and wrap them up as part of my book advent too. You could also mix up Christmas themed books with regular books if you want to.
